Flashlights

The air's getting thin
An you're getting lost in your skin.
The door's sealed closed,
I'll be back in the shape of a ghost.

I'll return if you can wait,
I'll be screaming just outside.
I will stare at endless space,
We'll see what is left behind.

Flashlights, tears in your eyes,
Tell me when the stars collide,
Life inside an air tank,
Choking in a bin bag,
I don't wanna say goodbye.

Our home is burning up,
Feel free to interrupt giving up.
I can see from your eyes
That this time, it's ok to say goodbye.

Nothing makes you feel as small,
So powerless an pitiful,
Hold my hand an don't let go,
We'll suffocate together slow.

Flashlights, tears in your eyes,
Tell me when the stars collide.
Life inside an air tank,
Choking in a bin bag,
I don't wanna say goodbye.

Flashlights, tears in your eyes,
Tell me when the stars collide.
Life inside an air tank,
Choking in a bin bag,
I don't wanna say goodbye.

Flashlights, tears in my eyes,
Tell me when the stars collide.
Life inside an air tank,
Choking in a bin bag,
I don't wanna say goodbye.
